02 Dates and location
When and where is ACC 2027?
ACC.27 runs Saturday, April 10, through Monday, April 12, 2027, in Houston. ACC calls this edition ACC.27-WCC because it is held jointly with the World Heart Federation's World Congress of Cardiology, which ACC says brings a broader international perspective.
Sessions take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas, Houston, TX 77010. Paid pre-conference programs run the day before, Friday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT.
If you searched for ACC in New Orleans: that was last year. ACC's own coverage page lists ACC.26 as March 28–30, 2026, in New Orleans. The next two meetings after Houston are already on ACC's future meetings list.
| Meeting | Dates | City | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACC.26 | March 28–30, 2026 | New Orleans, LA | Held |
| ACC.27-WCC | April 10–12, 2027 | Houston, TX (George R. Brown Convention Center) | Registration open |
| ACC.28 | April 1–3, 2028 | Chicago, IL | Announced |
| ACC.29 | March 10–12, 2029 | Atlanta, GA | Announced |
03 Registration and deadlines
ACC.27 registration: packages and deadlines
The standard and PLUS rates rise twice. Early bird runs from Oct. 28 to Dec. 2, 2026, the advance rate from Dec. 3 to Feb. 24, 2027, and the regular rate until April 12. ACC says the early bird saves up to $300 compared with later rates.
Rates differ by package and by category: physician/scientist, cardiovascular team, cardiovascular administrator, fellow in training, resident, student and industry, each with a member and a nonmember price. The current fee table for every category is on our ACC.27 meeting page; ACC's official rates page is the place to register.
Pick the category that matches your license. At ACC.24 the credit claim options appeared only for registrants in a professional category (physician, nurse, physician assistant, pharmacist or other), so a student or industry badge would not show them.
| Package | Format | What ACC lists as included |
|---|---|---|
| ACC.27-WCC PLUS | In person | One pre-conference session on April 9, full in-person access, live streaming, three-month ACC Anywhere trial |
| ACC.27-WCC | In person | Full in-person access, live streaming, three-month ACC Anywhere trial |
| ACC.27-WCC@Home | Virtual | Live streaming of 200+ sessions over three days, 4,500+ ePosters, three-month ACC Anywhere trial |
| ACC.27-WCC Expo Only | In person | Expo floor, Heart Park networking and posters |
ACC Emeritus members get 40% off and Federal Section members 25% off registration rates. Check your membership status before you pay the nonmember rate.
04 CME and CE credits
How many CME credits does ACC offer?
For ACC.27, the number is not out yet. The registration, hotel and program pages we checked on Oct. 31, 2026, list no credit totals, and the accreditation and claim-credit pages from ACC.26 now return an error page while the site switches to ACC.27.
The last full credit list we could open on ACC's own site is the ACC.24 claiming FAQ. It shows how wide the menu usually is: one meeting covered physicians, nurses, PAs, pharmacists and radiologic technologists, all capped at the same session hours.
Treat these as a guide to what to expect, not as ACC.27 numbers. We will update this page when ACC publishes the ACC.27 accreditation statement.
| Credit type | ACC.24 maximum |
|---|---|
| AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ | 20.25 |
| ABIM Medical Knowledge MOC points | 20.25 |
| ABP MOC points | 20.25 |
| Continuing nursing education | 20.25 contact hours, including 12.25 pharmacotherapeutic nursing contact hours |

05 How to claim credit
How to claim CME credit after the ACC meeting
ACC uses a credit cart. You put the sessions you actually sat through in the cart, with the time you spent there, then pull a certificate. These are the steps ACC published for ACC.24; ACC.27 instructions should appear in the meeting app and Online Planner closer to April.
- Open Claim My Credit in the meeting app, or go to the Online Planner and log in with your ACC username and password.
- Open My Credit Cart/Certificate at the top of the page.
- Add sessions: import them from your itinerary, sync the sessions you flagged during the meeting, or search and add them one by one.
- Remove any session you planned but skipped. My Itinerary is your plan; the cart is the record of what you attended.
- Rate individual sessions if you like. Session evaluations are optional.
- When the cart is final, choose your certificate under Available Certificates on the right.
- Complete the overall meeting evaluation. This one is required.
- Generate the certificate, then print or email it.
Don't wait for the deadline. At ACC.24, claiming closed for good on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 5 p.m. ET, three months after the meeting ended on April 8. Claim within the first week, while you still remember which talks you left early.
06 MOC points
ABIM and ABP MOC points at ACC
Only some sessions carry MOC. At ACC.24, ABIM Medical Knowledge MOC was offered for select sessions, and sessions with ABP MOC were marked in the program. Filter the online program by credit type before you build your schedule.
To claim, add the MOC sessions to the same credit cart, then pick the ABIM MOC or ABP MOC claim document under Available Certificates. ACC sends the points to the board for you. You will need your diplomate number and your birth month and day.
Check both carefully. ACC warns that a wrong diplomate number or birth date causes a significant delay, and an MOC claim can be submitted only once. Points can take up to 72 hours to show in your ABIM Physician Portal or ABP account.
A cardiologist who attends a full day of MOC-designated sessions may wait up to three days to see them in the ABIM portal, so don't resubmit when they are missing the next morning.
07 Virtual and on-demand
Virtual ACC.27@Home and ACC Anywhere credit
The @Home package streams 200+ sessions live over the three meeting days. For ACC.24, virtual attendees claimed credit through a separate system and had to log in with the email address they used to register, so keep that address handy.
On-demand viewing is a different product. ACC Anywhere, ACC's video library, carries most sessions from recent annual meetings but leaves out Clinical Spotlights, oral and poster contributions, live cases and several stage programs. Every ACC.27 package includes a three-month free trial.
ACC Anywhere credit follows its own clock. Watch time and credit reset in early January, so ACC tells users to claim by December 31 of each calendar year. The credit shows on your ACC.org transcript the same day you claim it, and the first claim each year triggers a short evaluation.
- Evening Clinical Spotlight sessions were certified separately at ACC.24; ACC emailed attendees an evaluation link to claim them.
- Pharmacists entered their NABP e-Profile ID and birth date, and ACC uploaded the credit to CPE Monitor. That claim, too, could be submitted only once.
- A Certificate of Participation can be claimed in addition to a credit certificate, handy as proof of attendance when you file for a CME allowance.
08 Abstracts and LBCT
ACC.27 abstract and Late-Breaking Clinical Trial deadlines
General abstracts are closed. Abstracts, Complex Clinical Cases, CV Team Abstracts and CV Team Cases shared one window that ended Oct. 8, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET, and presenting authors hear back on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2027.
Late-Breaking Clinical Trials are still open until Dec. 1, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET. Young Investigator Award submissions closed Aug. 14.
09 Hotels and cancellation
ACC.27 hotels, changes and cancellation
Register first. ACC only lets registered attendees reserve rooms in the official block, which closes Thursday, March 18, 2027. Book through the hotel link ACC gives after registration, and call the Registration and Housing Center at 864-208-2670 or email [email protected] (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) with questions.
Most dates that cost money cluster in late February and mid-March. Put them in your calendar the day you register.
| Date | What changes |
|---|---|
| Until Feb. 24 | Change package or substitute another in-person attendee without a processing fee; cancel in-person registration for a refund minus a $199 administrative fee |
| After Feb. 24 | No changes, substitutions or refunds; you can ask to convert to ACC.27@Home |
| Until March 14 | Change or cancel your hotel online via the confirmation email link |
| March 15–21 | Reservations move to the hotel; no changes allowed |
| From March 22 | Deal with the hotel directly; cancelling within 72 hours of arrival costs the first night plus tax |
| Any time | @Home registrants can upgrade to in-person; virtual registration itself is non-refundable and non-transferable |
ACC gives no refunds for non-attendance or travel disruption after Feb. 24 and recommends travel insurance.
