Alternatives & exemptions. Military exemption; volunteer indigent care or public school service can waive up to 25% of hours (not mandatory subjects); primary care physicians posting a price-transparency sign may be exempt for one cycle.
Good to know. Licenses renew every 2 years: Group 1 expires Jan 31 of even years, Group 2 Jan 31 of odd years. Also must have practiced 2 of the last 4 years or pass SPEX. DOs licensed by separate Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
