- Programs meeting OAC 4757-9-05 and 4757-9-06: board-approved providers/programs, programs approved by other states' boards issuing the same license types, programs offered/approved by national associations representing the professions, qualifying college courses; authoring (max 10 h) and presentations/teaching (max 10 h per period).

- No banking: effective July 1, 2026, excess hours from the prior renewal period can no longer be applied (previously up to 12).

Good to know. All hours may be earned by distance learning (OAC 4757-9-04(F)). License expires two years from issue or renewal (OAC 4757-7-01). IMFTs may claim up to 6 hours of qualifying volunteer service.
