- Courses approved, conducted or sponsored by an accredited institution of higher learning, a county/state/federal agency, a professional association, or a mental health agency providing clinical mental health or SUD treatment services (certificate required). Other credit per DOPL guide: university teaching (no limit), conference presentations (max 5), clinical readings (max 10), volunteer service (max 10), supervision/direct observation by approved supervisors (max 10 each), peer consultation (max 10), professional board service (max 6).

- CE documentation is submitted only if audited by the Division; certificates must show name, provider, instructor, date, title, objectives and hours.
