Alternatives & exemptions. APRN renewal requires evidence of current certification or recertification in the APRN role and at least one population focus by a nationally accredited certifying body recognized by the board.
Good to know. No APRN contact-hour rule in statute; national certification is the renewal condition. The former opioid-prescribing CE provision (Minn. Stat. §214.12, subd. 6) has expired. RN license CE (Minn. R. 6310.2800) applies separately.
