About CloserStill Media
CloserStill Media is an events company, and in the US its veterinary meetings trade as US Vet Shows. You will see that name more often than the corporate one. The two meetings are New York Vet, at the Javits Center in Manhattan, and Wild West Vet in Reno.
The two feel fairly different. New York Vet is a short city trip with sessions curated by Clinician's Brief, NAVTA and Veterinary Practice News. Wild West Vet runs longer and adds equine and farm clinical content to the small animal program, which helps mixed practitioners. Both cater to the whole team, with technician and practice-management education.
On credit, the organizer submits programming for RACE approval once a curriculum is final, so a listing can show approval as pending for a while. It is also an approved New York State sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and technicians, useful to anyone licensed there.
