02 About
About Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association
Pennsylvania veterinarians will know PVMA as their state association, working on the profession's standing along with animal health and human health. Its two conferences give members and neighbors a choice of scale.
Keystone Veterinary Conference is the bigger of the pair, a summer CE event with a social side that the association is happy to advertise. Three Rivers Veterinary Symposium is the smaller option, held in western Pennsylvania, with its speakers and marketplace kept to a size that suits people who dislike big halls. It draws attendees from western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
For a practitioner in the region, these meetings save the travel of a national show and put you among colleagues who work under the same state rules. Check the current program for CE approval details before counting hours toward renewal, especially if you hold a license in another state.
