About Pri-Med
Primary care is the whole scope here. Pri-Med has been producing CME/CE since 1995 for MDs, DOs, NPs and PAs, through conferences and an online library, with accreditation handled by its Pri-Med Institute division.
Two conference formats matter when you compare options. The three-day Primary Care CME/CE Conference & Expos include an exhibit hall, and in-person attendees get recordings by email afterward for extra credit. Regional conferences don't include those recordings. Credit types include AMA PRA Category 1, AAFP prescribed credit and AANP contact hours with pharmacology, and each listing gives its maximum.
Because one meeting can serve a mixed practice, physicians and NPs from the same clinic can often attend together. Pri-Med is a company, not a member society, and its stated aim is keeping primary care knowledge and guidelines current.
