- New licensees
- Pharmacists first licensed in the year before the renewal date are exempt at that first renewal; licenses issued on or after October 1 first renew December 31 of the next year.
- Audits & records
- Attest at renewal; Board may audit the past two years. Keep original certificates 2 years.
Alternatives & exemptions. Up to 2 hours for volunteer pharmacy services (1 hour per 3 hours). Pharmacists also licensed elsewhere who met 15 hours there need no more. Extensions/exemptions possible.
Good to know. Licenses expire December 31 and renew annually; renewal also needs an NABP e-profile number. At least 3 of the 15 hours must be live or real-time interactive.
