Alternatives & exemptions. Technicians registered from July 1, 2014 on after passing the PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT) exam renew by submitting a current CPhT certification instead of Board CPE hours.
Good to know. The 20 CPE hours apply to technicians registered before July 1, 2014 (or under W. Va. Code §30-1-27). Two-year reporting period July 1 – June 30. Rule effective July 1, 2026.
