- Carryover
- Up to 10 contact hours above 30 may carry over to the next biennium; excess ethics and child abuse hours cannot carry over as those topics.
- New licensees
- Exempt (except the 2-hour child abuse training) if licensed within 2 years of the first biennial renewal; licensees by endorsement from other states have prorated hours (3.75 per quarter).
- Audits & records
- Certify compliance at renewal; keep certificates/transcripts for at least two bienniums; subject to Board audit. Child abuse CE must be reported electronically by the approved provider.
