- Board may audit at least 10% of licensees; keep documentation 4 years.
Alternatives & exemptions. Fellowship, internship or residency may be approved in lieu of CE; waivers/extensions for disability, illness, military duty.
Good to know. CE period Oct 1 - Sept 30 (grace to Nov 30 with late fee). Min 20 h veterinary medicine; max 10 h practice management/wellbeing; min 15 h live (in person or online); max 15 h pre-recorded online. At least 2 h in pharmacy/controlled substances, antimicrobials, or laws (licensee's choice).
