Alternatives & exemptions. Veterinarians who turned 70 before Sept 1, 2025 are exempt; Board may excuse for good cause, sickness or emergency (letter before Aug 1).
Good to know. Annual license expires August 1; hours earned Aug 1 - Aug 1 (CE up to 15 days before the period may count). Proof of attendance must be submitted. A new Practice Act took effect July 1, 2026.
