CSWE 2027 Annual Conference

The Council on Social Work Education holds its 2027 Annual Conference October 21 to 24, 2027, in Long Beach, California. The meeting used to be called the Annual Program Meeting. It brings together educators, students, administrators and practitioners from the more than 900 CSWE-accredited social work programs, with hundreds of sessions in more than 40 topic tracks.

Six pre-conference institutes and summits run on the Wednesday and Thursday before the conference opens on Thursday evening. Each needs its own registration, and where an event offers CE credit, the cost is included in its fee. At the main conference CE is available only for selected sessions, and some presentations count toward ethics and values credit. The 2027 venue, fees and CE details are not published yet. Later conferences are planned for Chicago (2028) and Columbus, Ohio (2029).
