01 Overview

Built for clinicians who rarely see these emergencies but must handle them alone: chest tubes, cricothyrotomy, ultrasound nerve blocks, trauma resuscitation, ventilators and precipitous delivery. UNMC plans lightly embalmed cadavers but warns it may substitute other training if the supply runs short.

The fees listed are for the May 12 to 14 emergency course. The May 11 ultrasound day, capped at 36 people, costs $700 by February 26 and $750 after; both together cost $1,250 or $1,350. Agendas and the credit total are not published yet.
